Repectful Kneel

That I find kneeling during the National Anthem a act of disrespect is no secret.  BUT, today, the entire Ravens team knelt before their game and I approve.  Prior to the National Anthem, they announced, without equivocation, that the team would be kneeling in prayer for "kindness, unity, equality and justice for all Americans".  There was no disrespect to any patriotic tradition and every single Raven participated.  Good on them.  Sadly, some of the crowd still booed them for this.  From interviews, many of the boo-ers misunderstood and thought they would remain kneeling through the anthem.  Understandable I guess considering the recent hoopla, but every player DID arise after their prayer and stood for the anthem.  They disrespected nobody and the booing ceased when their prayer concluded.  I hope it was a misunderstanding by the boo-ers, but if the Ravens still take heat after-the-fact, then the liberals are right and those condemners are indeed oblivious, intolerant, and devoid of rationalization.
